While still providing all the support of a traditional kapok-filled zafu, the Zippered Buckwheat Hull Zafu conforms more readily to each individual's shape. It's like sitting on sand at the beach — the hulls are distributed beneath you, just as you want them.
We stuff our Buckwheat Hull Zafu with approximately 4 1/2 lbs. of organic buckwheat hulls enclosed in a zippered muslin shell making it easy to add/remove buckwheat. The Buckwheat Hull Zafu measures 15" in diameter with a 5 1/2" loft. Made from super-soft 100% brushed cotton with carrying handle. A concealed zipper allows the cover to be removed for easy washing.
